Monday 24th February - walk *** – Around Felixstowe – Alsorts including sunshine and rain!

With rain forecast first thing we had no plans for today especially as my chesty cough continues, in fact I was up in the night coughing and had to come down stairs so Mag could sleep but I managed a couple of hours sleep sitting up on the settee thank goodness. Then we got a message asking if we could have Maeva for the day as her mum was unwell, we hummed and harred because of my germ but we decided to have her and she was an absolutely lovely once again. We had a fun morning, Maeva loved doing exercises with Mag, then played musical instruments while listening to 80’s Disco music:) Then after lunch with the mornings rain going and the wind dropping we decided to head out for a walk, firstly taking a parcel to the Post Office, then down the pram walk to a very quiet prom to The Fludyers and up to the new Range to buy some plants, through the town stopping at Poundland to bird feed and biscuits for Maeva and home. We had a brief spell of blue sky before the rain returned and Felixstowe had a brilliant double rainbow, sadly I missed it!
